Hey, thanks for stopping by to learn a little more about me!

I recently graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a minor in Studio Arts, and I take pride that I have graduated two years ahead of most of my peers. I also placed 8th in the Southeast Journalism Conference Best of the South 2022  for the Special Events category!

 

I’m an avid animal lover that’s into all things reptile related, from researching to attending events and even owning some of my own! I currently have a black cat named Kiyoko and a ball python named Leviathan. I also like to spend the other part of my spare time playing video games, either by myself or with friends.

 

I’m very laid back and keep an optimistic attitude in every situation that I can, and while some may call me naïve for it, I really believe fretting or panicking won’t solve anything. Despite my relaxed attitude, I get my work done as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to give myself time to relax at the end of each day.

 

I’ve always had an interest in radio and entertainment since I was in middle school. I ran a YouTube channel for a little while, and that was the first domino in my life to set me on the course for being a communications major. As I got older, I branched out more into the writing side of the field and found I have a knack for it! It’s now my goal to write about reptiles (and other animals) and educate the public on everything about them, or to write about all the latest news in the videogame world. After writing for the UWF Voyager paper and focusing on stories related to animals and games, I'm confident that this is the route I'd like to take. Aside from this, I also like to do photography sometimes. All of the images under the Photography tab are photos that I've taken myself over the years! I've gotten better as time goes on and I don't plan to let my skills dull out.
